Drafting and planning

This is the shot I am going to use on the front page of my music magazine 'move'.
This is very effective because of the direct mode of address from my model. Making eye contact with the target audience will engage them and they will be interested in the magazine.
The appearance of my model is very important as linking back to my blog post on the 25th of November, my model to some extent replicates the appearance of Annie Mac as shown here:
I am very happy with my choice of image for the front page because of the clothing my model is wearing, the plain use of jumper gives her that self-made hardworking DJ characteristic which is mirrored by Annie Mac.
The lime green wall positively makes my artists appear vivid, new and fresh and this will also have a great impact on the colour scheme for my magazine. It has a connection to mixmag as the background for mixmag magazines is predominantly bright colouring for example:
This will be very eye-catching to my target audience. I will successfully use this image for my front page as it sticks to the typical conventions of a mixmag magazine because my artist is very edgy and the background is rich in colour.
